A Love for Horses

The horse community has many different avenues that provide opportunities to develop deep-seeded passions that can turn into a lifelong career, full-time hobby, a love for riding and so much more. Building & Growing a Successful Horse Rescue

Horses provide so much for us and we hopefully in turn provide as much or more back to them. When that agreement is not met or upheld, there are organizations such as H.O.R.S.E. of Connecticut, Inc who find and rescue horses with the goal of giving them a chance for a better life. It’s one of many reasons why the GHP team has been excited to partner with this fantastic organization. H.O.R.S.E. of CT was founded and has been led by Patty Wahlers since 1981.

Under Patty’s vision, H.O.R.S.E of CT has the honor of being Connecticut’s oldest Horse Rescue. GHP has an immense amount of respect for individuals such as Patty and organizations like hers that make it their life’s work to provide brighter futures for horses who have come from difficult situations.

Partnership Bound by Conversation

GHP’s partnership with H.O.R.S.E. of CT began with a conversation about Fly Bye! Plus and Pony Polish for Luxurious Locks. Both products are Patty’s preferred fly spray and detangler for manes and tails. We asked Patty about why her organization prefers to use GHP’s products on her horses:
